On the last day of the year 2005, I was in Taipei.

I walked around the city, going where the crowd went.
Revellers, party-goers, people dressed in new outfits ready for the new year. Buildings all around me lit up in brilliant displays of glass and concrete. But I kept on walking, capturing images which captured me.

So many colourful lights attractice to the eyes, and loud music echoed in the damp night air. Everywhere, people laughing, dancing, enjoying themselves on this last day of the year.

Midnight came and went.
People came and went.
And I too came and went.
